About the role

  • Lead a team of Supply Chain professionals including Supply Chain Program Managers, Buyers, and others
  • Collaborate with other supply chain and logistics functions to ensure the success of their programs
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies, processes, and materials program plans
  • Support financial management (i.e., EVMS, budgets, targets, working capital, material sales, etc.)
  • Analyze data to determine the cause of deviations from performance expectations and develop improvement plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience, or Master's degree with 7 years of experience in Engineering, related technical fields, Supply Chain Management, or related industry experience
  • Proven ability to lead and manage high performance team, including hiring and performance management responsibilities
  • Superior communication skills (written and verbal), leadership abilities, negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate in a cross functional environment are required
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills developed from contracts, proposal management, supplier management, capture management or similar negotiating activities
  • Strong ability to review product structure (Bill of Materials), identify long lead and high risk items/systems, and craft Supply Chain strategies to meet program objectives
