About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for thermal components from conception through development, testing, and integration.
Support internal or external development of thermal components.
Collaborate closely with the thermal analysis group within the Lunar Thermal Integrated Product Team.
Work with subsystem specifications, mission environments, and design and construction standards.
Produce outputs including component specifications, test plans, test execution reports, and test reports.
Develop short-term and long-term development plans.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent on-the-job experience in the spacecraft design industry
3-5 years of relevant Thermal Engineering experience
Understanding of thermal fundamentals
Demonstrated experience building and testing hardware
Understanding of aerospace hardware verification and validation process
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships.
