About the role
- Own the full commercial architecture for your commodity
- Establish and maintain dual-source coverage for all critical parts
- Conduct competitive sourcing events from global shortlists
- Negotiate Long-Term Agreements and Master Supply Agreements
- Run capability and capacity assessments of current and prospective suppliers
- Partner with Supply Chain Engineers, Finance, Legal, Logistics, and Program teams
Requirements
- 8+ years in commodity management or strategic sourcing in high-rate manufacturing
- Demonstrated track record building competitive supply bases from NPI through production
- Experience conducting competitive global sourcing events and negotiating multi-year agreements
- Proven ability to analyze total landed cost across international supply options
- Experience embedding technical requirements into commercial agreements
- Strong analytical and commercial judgment
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Genuine curiosity about AI-enabled workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
