About the role
- Understand and help manage the complex interplay between strategy, technology, manufacturing, finance and business operations
- Understand and help manage the rhythm of business and management operating system of Blue Operations
- Lead the development and management of large-scale, cross-functional enterprise programs
- Define program objectives, deliverables, risks, and success metrics to ensure alignment with operations strategy and company goals
- Identify potential risks to program success, including resource gaps, timeline delays, or budgetary constraints
- Identify and manage complex dependencies within the program as well as across other projects in the organization
- Manage the program execution, risks, timelines, and resources to ensure successful outcomes
- Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies to ensure successful program outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies in current processes and implementing innovative solutions
- Act as key liaison between operational teams and Operations leadership to ensure operations objectives are met
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on program objectives and priorities
- Facilitate regular updates, and reviews to communicate progress
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, Operations management, or related field
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or PMP Certification
- 4+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, finance, business operations
- Proven experience leading and managing small teams
- Proven success managing large-scale, enterprise-wide programs with measurable impact on operational efficiency and strategic goals
- Proficiency in project and program management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira Confluence)
- Advanced skills in presentation and visualization tools
- Ability to understand and navigate complex business processes
- Skilled at gathering information, managing resources, and driving results
- Ability to connect operational details to broader business goals
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of program and project management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills capable of conveying complex risks, issues, or challenges of programs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively
- Proactive problem-solving approach with the ability to anticipate challenges and implement solution
