About the role
- Provide technical leadership to the RCS propulsion team on Lunar Transportation
- Support team members and advise on technical approaches
- Manage the vehicle’s RCS propulsion system lifecycle from definition to operation
- Plan component schedules and manage risks
- Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to design, build, test and analyze components
Requirements
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering or related technical subject area
- 8+ years of experience in propulsion systems
- Experience with the full engineering lifecycle of propulsion systems
- Excellent fundamental understanding of propulsion system requirements
- Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring
- Excellent fundamental understanding of compressible flow and 1D flow analysis
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Familiar with either agile or waterfall project management
- Willingness to work on-site with occasional travel
