About the role
- Perform and lead engineering activities including Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Preliminary Hazard Assessment (PHA), Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA), Hazard Reports, Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analyses (FMECA)
- Develop plans and coordinate completion of system and subsystem safety analysis
- Ensure traceability between system and subsystem functions, requirements, and safety artifacts
- Support verification and validation of safety and reliability requirements
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers across the program and company
- Collaborate across systems to develop best practices
Requirements
- B.S. degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of System Safety or Systems Engineering experience
- In-depth experience with performing safety analyses on safety critical systems
- Ability to lead and coordinate safety analysis products across stakeholders
- Strong safety and mission assurance fundamentals
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
