About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the delivery and quality of mission analysis products and reports
- Build mission analysis models in a variety of tools
- Predict mission performance across all mission phases
- Perform model checks to ensure the accuracy and quality of results
- Perform trade studies and optimizations of mission design solutions
- Collaborate with external teams on the trade offs
- Document mission analysis results and present at internal review boards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of mission modeling and analysis
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., MATLAB, Python, C/C++, FORTRAN)
- Experience with software tools such as Jama, Cameo, MATLAB/Simulink, Confluence, JIRA, Git, Creo, and Windchill
