About the role
- Define, own, and control the subsystem technical baseline
- Manage a team of engineers to specify, design, analyze, manufacture, integrate, test, and deliver hardware and software components
- Manage external procurements and internal hardware dependencies required to meet subsystem deliveries
- Recruit, hire and manage a technical team of engineers and other professionals
- Drive excellence in programmatic and project operations through data-driven management approach
Requirements
- 2+ years managing technical teams and/or leading functional groups
- 8+ years of relevant experience in the full lifecycle development of aerospace systems
- Demonstrated expertise in cryogenic (liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen) propulsion and fluid management systems
- Resource management experience leading multidisciplinary development projects
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or another technical field
