About the role
- Define the end-to-end Concept of Operations for Lunar missions
- Act as the flight director for the design phase of programs
- Define and own the mission plan that satisfies Blue and NASA objectives
- Facilitate design reviews and meetings with NASA customers
- Manage architecture design trades, risks, and opportunities
- Integrate with Mission Operations for validation activities
Requirements
- B.S. in Aerospace, Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related technical subject area
- Firm grasp of systems engineering principles and methods
- Knowledge of space vehicles and propulsion systems
- Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills
- 10+ years of experience in aerospace systems development
- 5+ years in the development or operation of aerospace hardware or complex integrated operations
- M.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical subject area
- Experience with software tools such as Jama, Cameo, MATLAB/Simulink, Confluence, JIRA, Git, Creo, and Windchill
