Key responsibilities & impact

Define the end-to-end Concept of Operations for Lunar missions
Act as the flight director for the design phase of programs
Define and own the mission plan that satisfies Blue and NASA objectives
Facilitate design reviews and meetings with NASA customers
Manage architecture design trades, risks, and opportunities
Integrate with Mission Operations for validation activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. in Aerospace, Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related technical subject area
Firm grasp of systems engineering principles and methods
Knowledge of space vehicles and propulsion systems
Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills
10+ years of experience in aerospace systems development
5+ years in the development or operation of aerospace hardware or complex integrated operations
M.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical subject area
Experience with software tools such as Jama, Cameo, MATLAB/Simulink, Confluence, JIRA, Git, Creo, and Windchill
