About the role
- Support and/or lead the execution of the end-to-end delivery of multiple technical projects
- Act as primary contact to developing overall project management plan
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define, monitor and control project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Proactively monitor and control project scope, manage change requests, and track risks and opportunities
- Track key performance indicators and report out at program monthly reviews
- Manage the preparation, execution, and closeout of follow-up actions for Gated Reviews
- Develop tools for transportation assets for both internal and external customers
- Perform audits and continual improvement of project management tools
Requirements
- B.S. degree or higher in engineering, construction, business, or another technical field
- >2 years of experience in managing complex system development projects within the aerospace, high pressure system or similar safety critical industry
- Demonstrated developing knowledge and application of project management principles on multi-disciplinary integrated systems
- Organized self-starter, capable of breaking down complex problems into traceable tasks
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Intermediate effective verbal and written communication skills
- Candidate must be able to successfully apply for badging at a government installation
