About the role
- Lead Demand and Inventory Fulfilment Planning within the S&OP process, developing rolling forecasts and scenario planning
- Develop rolling forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly) using advanced statistical methods and AI/ML models to improve forecast accuracy
- Design inventory optimization strategies balancing service levels and working capital across global distribution
- Build and maintain real-time dashboards tracking KPIs across sales, inventory, forecast accuracy, and operations
- Implement predictive analytics for demand sensing, customer behavior modeling, pricing, and promotional effectiveness
- Drive AI/ML integration and lead technology selection and implementation for planning systems (SAP IBP, Anaplan, o9, JDA)
- Partner with IT/Engineering to automate reporting and scale data infrastructure (Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI)
- Serve as primary planning liaison to executive leadership and present monthly business reviews
- Facilitate weekly S&OP and monthly integrated business planning sessions and manage vendor relationships
- Lead and develop a team of 2-3 professionals, set OKRs, and build succession planning
- Develop contingency plans and early warning systems for supply chain disruptions
- Lead lean/Six Sigma initiatives to improve planning cycle time and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, or Analytics
- MBA or relevant Master's degree preferred
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) strongly preferred
- Additional certifications in data science, project management (PMP), or Lean Six Sigma valued
- 5-8+ years in operations planning, supply chain analytics, demand planning, or related functions
- 2-3 years in leadership roles with direct report management experience
- Proven experience in luxury goods, premium consumer brands, or high-end retail preferred
- Demonstrated success in S&OP process leadership and cross-functional program management
- Track record of digital transformation initiatives and technology implementations
- Advanced Excel modeling including VBA
- Proficiency with statistical software (R, Python, or SAS) and predictive modeling
- Experience with BI/Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Experience with planning systems (SAP IBP, Anaplan, o9, JDA/Blue Yonder)
- Database skills: SQL, Snowflake, BigQuery or similar
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and applications in planning
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Executive communication and stakeholder management experience
