About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement pricing strategies across all categories to improve margin, enhance product mix and drive portfolio evolution
- Develop tools to monitor and analyze sales/margin to optimize revenue/profitability
- Establish and maintain pricing guidelines, rules and governance processes
- Map category price change calendar based on promotional calendar and establish targets to align with financial goals considering both commodity fluctuations and sourcing initiatives
- Partner with Strategic Sourcing team to inform resource and cost negotiation efforts based on category and SKU level findings
- Achieve targeted external indexes to maximize conversion and reinforce brand positioning while protecting internal hierarchy
- Build financial models to guide strategic decisions
- Drive promotional lists and discount depth based on elasticity, anticipated revenue and brand building efforts
- Manage annual promotional calendar and associated discount rates with a focus on maximizing commercial periods while preserving brand equity
- Design and implement frameworks to measure and improve promotions
- Lead post-promotional analysis, evaluating incremental sales, margin impact, and shopper behavior to inform future strategies
- Partner with Marketing and Strategic Merchandising teams to optimize promotional calendars
- Develop and share best practices for post-event evaluation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Analytics, Mathematics, Marketing or related field
- 10-12+ years of experience in revenue management, pricing strategy, commercial finance, merchandising analytics or related disciplines
- Proven track record improving revenue, margin, and promotional ROI through data-driven pricing strategies
- Deep experience with price elasticity analysis, promotional testing, post-event measurement, and scenario planning
- Ability to build decision models and dashboards with limited support in a lean environment
- Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling, scenario analysis and large dataset management
- Proficiency with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar
- Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience in ecommerce, retail, luxury, premium consumer or highly promotional businesses preferred
