About the role
- Manage and maintain Windows, Linux, and Unix server environments to ensure optimal performance.
- Administer cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and O365 for enterprise workloads and containerization.
- Manage, configure, and troubleshoot VMware-based virtualization environments.
- Monitor systems and networks using SolarWinds and DataDog to ensure reliability and performance.
- Lead network-related incident resolution, ensuring SLAs are met and escalating when necessary.
- Implement and support secure networking solutions for on-premise and cloud environments.
- Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including topology maps and troubleshooting procedures.
- Support backup and disaster recovery solutions (Rubrik, Zerto) to ensure data protection and resilience.
- Manage firewalls and routing protocols; perform network troubleshooting in data center environments.
- Provide game-day support, including working weekends, holidays, and the specified onsite schedule.
Requirements
- Strong experience in NOC operations with expertise in Windows, Linux, and Unix using the ServiceNOW ticketing system.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, O365) and virtualization/containerization technologies (VMware, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Backup and DR support experience with Rubrik and Zerto.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, routing protocols, and network monitoring tools like SolarWinds and DataDog.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to dynamic priorities.
- Network troubleshooting experience in data center environments (Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki) (preferred).
- Knowledge of infrastructure capacity planning and performance tuning (preferred).
- Familiarity with security best practices, SIEM platforms, and endpoint protection (preferred).
- Experience with advanced video streaming technologies and CDNs (preferred).
- Provide game day support on major holidays when games are played.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP (or equivalent), ITIL and technical certifications in servers and/or cloud (preferred).
