About the role
- This Role Requires Applicants To Be Located south of Boston MA, or close to the Quincy MA area as you will be required to be on site as needed 2-3 days a week.
- We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Network & Systems Engineer to join our growing, dynamic team in delivering exceptional service to our customers.
- In this role, you will take the lead in supporting a large and important customer environment.
- You will leverage your deep knowledge of networking technologies including Cisco, HPE, and Dell switches.
- Additionally, you will be responsible for working directly on Dell servers and must demonstrate a strong understanding of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory services.
- You will also actively contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives, helping to elevate our service delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in network and systems engineering roles, with a focus on enterprise-scale environments.
- Proven track record in incident management, RCA, and delivering network and server solutions under tight deadlines.
- Experience with firmware updates, patch management, and hardware lifecycle management.
- Technical Skills:
- - Switching and Routing: Expertise in Cisco, HP, and Dell switches.
- - Firewalls: Hands-on experience with SonicWALL, Fortinet, Meraki, and Palo Alto firewalls.
- - Wireless and Cloud Networking: Experience with Cisco and Meraki Wireless.
- - Load Balancing: Proficiency with physical and virtual F5 load balancers.
- - Servers: Hands-on experience working on Dell servers.
- - Operating Systems: Strong understanding and practical experience with Windows Server operating systems.
- - Directory Services: Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory.
