About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide personalized, in-person guest check-in briefings and retail sales support at the base of operations
- Deliver professional, courteous greetings and extraordinary guest service
- Provide safety briefings, flight following, ramp operations support, and retail sales assistance
- Establish rapport and trust with guests and help them select products matching their needs
- Sell retail items and upsell experiences
- Resolve guest issues promptly and follow up to ensure satisfaction
- Provide detailed purchase recaps and thank guests for their business
- Help grow base revenue through retail sales
- Maintain knowledge of local attractions, tours, and retail offerings
- Ensure compliance with operational specifications, HR requirements, and the Safety Management System
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Excellent personal interaction skills
- Expert-level knowledge of the local area and attractions
- Knowledge of the tour industry
- Adaptability and ability to support business changes
- Ability to overcome objections and offer alternate solutions
- Timeliness and professional appearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent English required; bilingual a plus
- Strong listening skills to identify customer needs
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a sales-driven environment
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- Proven ability to juggle multiple duties and prioritize
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Availability Sunday–Saturday, generally 3–5 days per week, including one Saturday or Sunday
- Availability for opening, mid, or closing shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of the position
