About the role Serve as the organization’s primary point of contact for human resources programs, processes, and systems. Execute HR generalist responsibilities including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and employee relations (approx. 80% of role). Support operations and IT functions including systems administration, account setup, license management, technology inventory, procurement, and logistics (approx. 20% of role). Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, draft job descriptions, source candidates, coordinate interviews, and manage onboarding logistics. Support performance management processes, prepare documentation, collect feedback, and provide initial coaching to managers. Serve as first point of contact for employee questions and issues; escalate complex matters to Director. Administer benefits enrollments, maintain accurate employee records, and assist with audits and compliance reporting. Maintain and update HRIS and employee records; generate basic HR reports and dashboards. Assist in drafting, updating, and communicating HR policies and procedures; research best practices. Provide informal guidance/mentorship to junior staff or interns and coordinate training and development programs. Support team retreats, meetings, internal systems management, and data security compliance. Requirements 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role. Broad exposure to core HR functions such as recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and compliance. Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust across a remote team. Familiarity with HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, and basic IT administration. Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to take initiative while collaborating closely with the Director of HR and Operations. HR certification, such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent, is a plus. Familiarity with IT provisioning and system management is a plus.
