About the role

  • Participating and assisting in strategic sourcing projects and activities
  • Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to define specifications and requirements
  • Conducting market research, data collection and analysis
  • Developing/drafting/reviewing contractual documents and supporting contract negotiations
  • Managing several sourcing projects and contracts simultaneously with excellent project and time management skills
  • Supporting category/contract management efforts and tracking contract progress and utilization
  • Preparing reports, written materials, presentations and performing analysis to support assigned categories
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders through meetings, webinars, and presentations
  • Reviewing engagement requests, collaborating on requirements and recommending alternate suppliers
  • Conducting price analysis, synthesizing data, identifying trends/opportunities and making recommendations
  • Supporting bid processes and assessing suppliers' responses to make recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ Years experience in Supply Chain, Sourcing, Procurement or any related function
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work/categories and projects
  • Ability to build strategic relationships with various stakeholders
  • Effective contract negotiations skills leading to optimal contracts
  • Ability to structure, develop and enhance contractual documents including, but not limited to: Master Service agreements, Work Orders, Amendments
  • Address problems quickly and effectively using factual data, possess situational flexibility and can identify the necessary resources for efficient resolution of issues, driving to results
  • Working knowledge of purchasing/sourcing processes including sourcing tools and applications
  • Ability to function in ambiguous and time sensitive situations
  • Create reports, analysis and project management plans
  • Clear, concise, and confident interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferred: Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) - ISM
