About the role

  • Administer and maintain servers, networks, and other IT systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install, configure, and update software and hardware components for systems.
  • Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
  • Ensure system security by implementing best practices for firewalls, antivirus software, backups, and user access controls.
  • Provide technical support for users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring proper access control and security compliance.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to plan and implement software and system upgrades or enhancements.
  • Document system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and other relevant information for team use.
  • Assist with network management, ensuring seamless connectivity across the organization.
  • Respond to system alerts and perform root cause analysis on issues to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage cloud-based infrastructure and services (if applicable), ensuring integration with on-premises systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree or completion of a Computer Science Program from a Technical Trade School preferred
  • Technical training with certification in assigned technology is required as applicable
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in I.T. and/or application development required for Infrastructure Administrator
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in I.T. and/or application development required for System Administrator
  • Minimum of eight years’ experience in I.T. and/or application development required for Senior System Administrator
  • Build, maintain, and optimize Okta Workflows and inline hooks to automate identity lifecycle events, access provisioning, and integration-related processes
  • Proficient in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
