About the role

  • Ensure that our IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) environments run stably, perform well and remain secure.
  • Install, configure and operate IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) environments on Windows and Linux servers.
  • Technical operation of TM1 Server, TM1 Web and Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW).
  • User management, monitoring and routine maintenance.
  • Apply updates and patches and secure the systems (including authentication, certificates and encryption).
  • Collaborate with BI consultants on the technical implementation of new solutions.
  • Analyze incidents and performance issues, identify sustainable fixes and document them.
  • Support the setup and operation of cloud environments (e.g., in Azure).

Requirements

  • Experience administering Windows or Linux servers (ideally both).
  • Practical experience operating applications on servers (e.g., databases, BI/analytics systems or similar).
  • Basic knowledge of working with databases and SQL (reading and writing).
  • Initial experience with a scripting language (e.g., PowerShell, Batch or Shell) to automate recurring tasks.
  • Experience with cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Ideally prior exposure to IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) or a strong motivation to learn it in depth.
  • Very good German skills (at least C1) and good English skills.
  • Nice-to-have, but not required: experience with Docker, single sign-on and certificate management.
