About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define, design, and document front-end architecture for enterprise-scale web applications integrated with Adobe Edge Delivery Services and Adobe Experience Manager
Establish coding standards, performance optimization strategies, and scalability plans
Ensure alignment with accessibility, security, and compliance standards
Lead EDS migration architecture and technical approach
Assess websites and define migration patterns and implementation best practices
Identify technical dependencies, risks, and architectural considerations
Develop migration methodology and scalable implementation approach
Support effort estimation, delivery planning, and technical governance
Lead development of reusable front-end components and templates
Integrate Adobe Experience Manager with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions for personalized, data-driven experiences
Implement responsive, cross-browser, and cross-platform solutions
Partner with backend teams to define API contracts and ensure seamless integration
Mentor developers and conduct code reviews
Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure design fidelity and optimal user experiences
Stay current with front-end frameworks, Adobe technology updates, and industry best practices
Identify opportunities to leverage EDS for content delivery, personalization, and experience optimization
Advocate for continuous improvement across deployment pipelines, CI/CD processes, and automated testing

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of professional front-end development experience, including 3+ years in an architect or technical lead role
Proven expertise in Adobe Experience Manager front-end development, particularly AEM SPA Editor
Hands-on experience with Adobe Edge Delivery Services, including configuration, deployment, and integration
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and SASS
Solid understanding of REST and GraphQL API integration, asynchronous data handling, and caching strategies
Experience with performance tuning, code splitting, and lazy loading for large-scale applications
Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and SEO optimization
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to lead by influence and foster collaboration across cross-functional teams
Strategic mindset balancing technical excellence with business priorities
Experience with Adobe Edge Delivery Services, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Journey Optimizer, React or Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, REST and GraphQL APIs
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Candidates must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
