About the role

  • Architectural Leadership: Define, design, and document front-end architecture for enterprise-scale web applications integrated with Adobe EDS and AEM.
  • Champion performance and accessibility: Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, edge caching.
  • Ensure alignment with accessibility (WCAG 2.1), security, and compliance.
  • Solution Development: Build modular, reusable components; Integrate AEM with Adobe Experience Cloud services (Target, Analytics, AJO).
  • Implement responsive, cross-browser, and cross-platform solutions.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: Lead cross-functional teams; mentor developers; code reviews.
  • Technical Strategy: Stay current with Adobe tech, CI/CD, automated testing; advocate deployment improvements.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional front-end development experience; 3+ years in an architect or lead role.
  • Expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) front-end development, or similar headless content delivery systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS), including configuration, deployment, and integration.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Angular, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.
  • Solid understanding of API integration patterns (REST/GraphQL), asynchronous data handling, and caching strategies.
  • Experience with performance optimization and lazy loading for large-scale applications.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and SEO optimization.
  • Preferred Skills Adobe Certified Expert (AEM Sites Architect or AEM Sites Developer).
  • Expertise of headless CMS architectures and JAMstack approaches.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud hosting (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to lead by influence and foster collaboration across teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities.
