About the role
- Aid in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
- Update and help maintain driver-based financial models to support business decisions and strategic initiatives
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly executive reporting decks; explain variances vs budget/forecast
- Monitor and report on key financial and operational metrics
- Support the monthly close: validate data flows, ensure ERP data accuracy, and reconcile key schedules used in management reporting
- Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic projects as required
- Document and standardize reporting processes; continually identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve processes and controls
- Partner cross-functionally on forecasting inputs and identify improvement opportunities
- Bring curiosity and a growth mindset; collaborate with finance leaders and cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related field
- 0-2 years of experience in finance, accounting or relevant internships
- Knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of financial statements, core GAAP concepts and valuation principles
- Problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills
- Ability to work with large datasets (cleaning, structuring, analyzing) and produce clear, accurate outputs
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to distill complex topics for non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Attention to detail and coachability
- Bonus: Experience with ERP, BI tools, or basic SQL
