Social Media Manager

• Lead BCI’s social media strategy across X/Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms
• Develop and manage a flexible editorial calendar balancing campaign content with real-time responses
• Ensure all content reflects BCI’s tone, priorities, and strategic communication goals
• Coordinate with the Senior Communications Manager on narrative development and cross-platform messaging
• Launch, manage, and report on multi-channel campaigns for events, policy work, publications, and partnerships
• Optimize all visual and written content for platform-specific engagement and accessibility
• Monitor climate news, policy developments, and tech trends to engage in timely conversations
• Live-tweet and provide social coverage during events like COP, ISO meetings, or global summits
• Build and maintain relationships with partner orgs, journalists, and climate-tech stakeholders via social channels
• Work with Graphic Designers and Video Editors to brief and adapt visual content for each platform
• Shape Instagram Reels, Stories, Threads, and Twitter/X posts into cohesive campaigns
• Provide creative input into copy, layout, and platform experiments
• Mentor junior volunteers contributing to BCI social media

• To assist with the curating and/or creating of Capacity Building material for the Institute
• To create Learning and Training opportunities for the volunteers
• To deliver training initiatives to fulfil the training needs identified within the Institute
• To provide regular administrative support for the learning and development functions
• To assist in the coordination of BCI learning and training sessions

• Role Title: Principal Legal Advisor / Senior Legal Advisor / Legal Advisor / Legal Assistant - Common Law Jurisdictions; Role Nature: Volunteer; Location: Home-based
• Ultimately report to the General Counsel and provide expert and strategic legal advice to all BCI divisions concerning the legal obligations and operations of BCI
• Provide advice on legal matters
• Evaluate and weigh multiple inputs and impacts of any decision or course of action
• Support the formulation or review of internal governance policies and manage the impact of external factors
• Draft legal opinions, memoranda, and briefing documents
• Formulate formalities regarding settlements of disputes
• Monitor the implementation of the legal clauses
• Provide legal insights into the use of blockchain and emerging technologies in climate action frameworks
• Advise members on legal issues and risks, including corporate and charity governance, fundraising, marketing, competition, data protection, trademarks, copyright, defamation, and litigation matters
