About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Service, install, evaluate, and maintain medical imaging equipment across the United States.
- Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair imaging systems and computer components to meet OEM specifications and customer expectations.
- Perform preventive maintenance and resolve advanced electronic, mechanical, and network-related issues.
- Represent the company professionally during on-site visits and communicate customer feedback to internal teams.
- Expand technical knowledge continually and contribute to improving engineering competency.
- Provide timely project updates, insights, and responses to technical inquiries to support decision-making and customer satisfaction.
- Document new processes and provide training to end users, while supporting additional duties as needed.
- Ensure updates, calibrations or repairs are completed properly by running tests or diagnostics.
- Driving and vehicle operation are essential functions of this role.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Preferred Experience 3-7 years’ experience in medical imaging engineering or equivalent.
- Ideal candidate will have service experience related to GE MR and/or CT medical imaging equipment.
- Education (or equivalent experience) Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency with computers and related tools, including Microsoft Office, diagnostic software, hardware troubleshooting, and database entry/management.
