About the role

  • Drive outsource development by scheduling and tracking incoming/outgoing assets
  • Drive the completion of project goals and facilitate communication, organization, and accountability as a partner to both development leads and outsourcing supervisors
  • Create and track long-range project schedules for assets
  • Coordinate contract and invoice workflow between Blizzard Legal, Accounts Payable, and external partners
  • Think and implement strategically on long-term project priorities, dependencies, and risks
  • Anticipate production issues and remove roadblocks or bottlenecks that may prevent developers from achieving their goals on time
  • Communicate frequently with producers as well as with team leadership regarding project status, risks, and opportunities
  • Seek out ways to improve the processes, tooling, and relationships around you, and work with others to implement your ideas

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in game production or project management
  • Must have shipped at least one game in a producer or senior producer role
  • Able to build, track, and maintain complex schedules
  • Proficiency with production tracking tools such as Autodesk Flow Production (previously ShotGrid) / JIRA
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Familiarity with art pipeline and workflows
  • Knowledge of software development process, project management, and production processes
  • Comfortable with ambiguity but with an ability to drive towards clarity
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
