About the role

  • Own full accountability for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of national, multi-destination photography productions from pre-production through completion.
  • Execute productions independently, reporting up only when changes affect approved timelines, budgets, or scope.
  • Deliver projects on time and under budget, proactively identifying risks and resolving issues before they impact production outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned productions, ensuring a seamless experience for clients, photographers, and vendors.
  • Lead all pre-production efforts, including photographer routing, location access, permitting, shot list review, and production readiness.
  • Review and approve photographer routing plans to ensure efficiency, feasibility, and alignment with timelines and budget.
  • Collaborate with creative vendors to refine and finalize shot lists, ensuring clarity, completeness, and executional feasibility.
  • Secure and manage all location access, permits, and clearances, coordinating with property owners, government entities, and local partners.
  • Ensure all creative vendors complete required onboarding, start paperwork, and compliance requirements prior to production.
  • Oversee all production legal documentation, including model releases, location releases, permits, contracts, and licensing agreements.
  • Lead day-to-day production logistics, anticipating challenges and making informed decisions to keep productions on track.
  • Delegate and manage tasks with Associate Producers or Production Coordinators while retaining full ownership of outcomes.
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with vendors, ensuring clear expectations, alignment on deliverables, and mutual success.
  • Track production deliverables through image clearances and final handoff, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Review, approve, and reconcile vendor invoices against approved budgets.
  • Maintain detailed production documentation, timelines, and internal status updates to support transparency and alignment.
  • Uphold exceptional standards of organization, quality control, professionalism, and attention to detail across all production materials.
  • Represent the production team with confidence and accountability, reinforcing trust with both internal stakeholders and external partners.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial and/or branded video and photo production with expertise in photography.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Brazilian Portuguese proficiency at B2+ level (preferred).
  • Professional demeanor and relentless problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to work independently outside of an office.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
