About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and develop the Munich-based production team
Oversee sourcing, negotiation, and supply of components
Manage global network of contract manufacturers
Coordinate logistics and shipping operations globally
Support inventory and warehouse management
Collaborate with internal functions including R&D, Quality, and Sales
Act as the escalation point for supply chain and quality issues
Continuously improve processes across Production and Procurement
Monitor procurement and logistics markets for operational requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–5 years of experience in operations, production, or supply chain management
Experience leading a team in a dynamic environment
Familiarity with optomechanical components, semiconductors, and/or complex electronic assemblies
Bachelor's or Master's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering, economics, or a similar technical field
Business fluent in both German and English
Willingness to travel to Asia approximately twice a year.
