About the role
- Interpret product strategy & execute the vision.
- Own the product lifecycle for integrated payments solutions, from concept to launch to iteration.
- Translate business requirements from the Payments department into clear, prioritized technical requirements.
- Drive roadmap planning and ensure alignment with company strategy.
- Take a role as a cross-functional leader in the company who ensures that all teams have what they need to succeed.
- Partner with Engineering to scope, design, and deliver scalable payment products.
- Collaborate with Customer Support and Operations to act as an Escalation Tier for troubleshooting, product improvements, & issue resolution.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure product-market fit and effective go-to-market strategies.
- Interact directly with customers and partners to gather feedback, troubleshoot issues, and validate solutions.
- Represent the product in customer-facing settings including webinars, trainings, and industry events.
- Act as the “voice of the customer” within the organization.
- Produce high-quality product documentation, requirements specs, FAQs, and training materials.
- Deliver compelling internal and external presentations that explain both the what and the why behind our product strategy.
- Ask the right questions to uncover true business needs and technical constraints.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Product Management or related experience in SaaS, Fintech, or Payments.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to build trust across teams and with external partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to executives and customers.
- Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional projects.
- Familiarity with payment processing, integrated payments, or financial services.
- Preferred: Background in Payments, Fintech, or E-Commerce SaaS.
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with payment gateways, processors, or PayFac models.
- Preferred: Experience acting as a customer-facing subject matter expert or trainer.
- Preferred: Technical fluency (APIs, integrations, data flows) with the ability to have informed conversations with engineers.
