About the role
- Concept and product development: Together with Business Analysis, you develop new concepts for new products or extensions of existing products.
- Project planning: After the functional planning of a project, you create a detailed technical solution design for handover to IT.
- Project work: For larger projects, you define appropriate milestones and sensible intermediate steps for the project in coordination with project management.
- Communication and support: You are the point of contact for technical questions from customers and internal stakeholders.
- Documentation: You produce both technical project documentation and architecture diagrams.
Requirements
- Extensive experience: You hold a degree in (business) computer science or an equivalent qualification and have several years of experience in a comparable environment and role.
- Industry knowledge: You have solid knowledge of the finance and/or insurance industry and understand their specific requirements and processes.
- Familiarity with standards: A basic understanding of established industry standards such as BiPRO or GDV is an advantage.
- Technical know-how: Several years of experience in the design, mapping, and testing of web services and web-service-oriented system architectures.
- Analytical and conceptual strengths: You possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to develop concepts, always with a strong focus on quality.
- Independent working style: You are highly self-directed and proactive and can quickly familiarize yourself with new subject areas.
- Strong communication skills: You are confident interacting with various stakeholders and can convey complex issues clearly and appropriately for the audience.
- Development know-how: Ideally, you have solid experience with PHP, PHP frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, Slim, etc.), database administration with MySQL, SOAP web services, and JSON APIs.
