About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create, update, and analyze resource-loaded project schedules
- Support Blattner’s Operations and Project Management teams
- Build initial baseline schedules for complex projects using CPM best practices and contract requirements
- Use P6 health checks to validate schedules against applicable DCMA metrics
- Support schedule risk/range analysis under the Senior Scheduler’s direction
- Provide timely schedule updates to ensure contract deliverable dates are met
- Perform weekly resource leveling
- Apply schedule change scenarios, document impacts, and escalate variances for mitigation planning
- Develop contractually required and supplemental project reporting, including look-ahead, variance, and critical path reports
- Work closely with Project Managers to keep schedules accurate, aligned with project progress, and compliant with procedures and client requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Industrial Engineering Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or combinations of related education and experience
- Two or more years of experience in project scheduling or a combination of construction and scheduling experience
- Scheduling for gas or heavy industrial projects required
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Expert proficiency with scheduling software, including Primavera and Microsoft Project
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Working knowledge of risk analysis software such as Primavera Risk, Acumen Risk, Risk, and Safran
- Working knowledge of analytical tools such as Acumen Fuse, Power BI, and Tableau
