About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide customer service as a liaison between Quanta and employees regarding benefit plans
  • Respond to employee questions via email, phone calls, or ServiceNow requests
  • Advise employees on benefit eligibility, coverage, and other benefit matters
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the benefits team
  • Escalate complex or sensitive situations to the appropriate Senior Benefits Analyst or Leave Advisor
  • Partner with site teams to maintain inventory of benefit materials
  • Distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly paid sick leave reports to sites
  • Schedule and meet with new project site teams to review the state sick leave process
  • Maintain the weekly benefit file by uploading and entering new benefit elections into the payroll system
  • Confirm benefit elections and audit file accuracy
  • Complete weekly arrears reporting and validate payroll deductions
  • Ensure benefits transfers and payroll deduction amounts are accurate
  • Determine FMLA eligibility separately from leave case management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • PHR or relevant HR certification is a plus
  • 3–4 years of HR, benefits administration, or related experience required
  • Familiarity with FMLA eligibility requirements and leave administration processes required
  • Working knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA
  • Ability to manage high-volume, detail-oriented administrative work accurately and consistently
  • Experience with benefits systems such as JDE E1, Workday, or similar HRIS preferred
  • Working knowledge of FMLA eligibility criteria, required documentation, and determination timelines
  • Ability to apply FMLA criteria accurately and communicate outcomes clearly to employees and managers
  • Familiarity with health and welfare, retirement, and leave program administration
  • Ability to process HRIS transactions accurately and identify data discrepancies
