Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical and strategic leadership for utility-scale gas power generation projects.
Collaborate with engineering, estimating, procurement, construction, and project management teams to guide engineering decisions, review designs, identify risks, and ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
Focus on developing people and processes by mentoring engineers, establishing engineering standards, supporting project pursuits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Serve as a key technical resource for the organization while helping build and lead a high-performing engineering team that supports the growth of Blattner's Gas Power Generation business.
Interacts and establishes positive relationships with gas power generation engineering firms and industry manufacturers.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
Registered Professional Engineering license required and/or in the process of completing.
10 or more years of applicable experience related to utility scale gas power generation projects OR mechanical engineering experience required.
7 or more years of leadership experience required.
