About the role
- Ionomr Innovations Inc., is an award-winning start-up company head-quartered in Vancouver. Ionomr is developing and producing a revolutionary Hydrocarbon Ion Exchange material needed to enable an energy future based upon Hydrogen. Our advanced material solutions unlock the future of the Hydrogen economy by providing the underlying technology necessary to drive cost effective Electrochemical systems that ensure a plentiful, sustainable, renewable, and Carbon Free source of energy.
- We are currently seeking candidates to fill a full-time co-op position based in our Boston (Charlestown) location starting January 5 2026.
- Duties will include:
- Assisting Senior Scientists and Process Engineers in reformulating polymer electrolytes and increasing the scale at which they are produced
- Assisting with polymer reprocessing and recovery processes
- Preparing membrane electrode assembly components for testing
- Test mechanical and electrochemical properties of polymer films ex-situ
- Conducting electrochemical testing of water electrolyzers and fuel cells
- Creating and maintaining records of electrochemical testing
Requirements
- We are seeking Chemistry/Chemical Engineering students at Northeastern University.
