Healthcare Account Leader
Blank MetalHealthcare Account Leader responsible for managing executive partnerships and driving AI initiatives within healthcare. Collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and account growth.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own executive-level client relationships across the C-suite — CEO, COO, CIO, CMO, CFO, and the senior leaders who actually move budget
- Earn trust through consistent execution and clear thinking, not vendor theater
- Set the cadence and forum that keep executives close to the work — exec syncs, steering committees, and the right read-outs at the right altitude
- Use escalation as a tool, not a failure: know when to raise something up the chain, who to bring it to, and how to frame it so the right decision gets made fast
- Be the single point of accountability across your engagements — the first call when something matters, the steady hand when it gets hard
- Drive client satisfaction by closing the loop on commitments, surfacing risks early, and protecting the relationship over the transaction
- Build and execute account growth plans that map directly to the client's clinical, operational, and financial strategy
- Find the next (few) problems worth solving before the current one wraps
- Own MSAs and SOWs from first conversation to signature, working tightly with legal, finance, and delivery
- Drive measurable, attributed account expansion year over year, with disciplined pipeline hygiene in HubSpot and Notion
- Use AI agents and automations to run accounts — meeting prep, account intelligence, follow-up, expansion signals — and demonstrate the AI-native operating model in how you actually work
- Help define how Blank Metal applies AI across payer, provider, life sciences, and digital health — what we do well, where we win, and what we don't take on
- Translate healthcare workflows, regulatory realities (HIPAA, HITRUST), and clinical and operational pain into repeatable solution patterns
- Partner with engineering and solution design to scope the right work for the right outcome — production AI, not pilots that die in slide decks
- Build the points of view, reference architectures, and case studies that establish our healthcare practice in the market
- Set engagements up to win on day one: clear scope, clear roles, clear outcomes, realistic timelines
- Stay engaged through the transition — you don't disappear at signature; you stay close as delivery ramps
- Partner with delivery leads to keep clients informed, supported, and growing throughout the engagement
- Bring delivery insights back into pitches, proposals, and roadmap conversations so we sharpen with every project
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years in account leadership, professional services, strategic management consulting, or enterprise sales with senior healthcare clients
- AI-native operator: you've used AI tools to change how you work and you can show what you built, we will ask you to open your computer and show us.
- Track record of building and growing executive relationships inside healthcare — payers, providers, life sciences, or digital health
- Demonstrated ability to translate healthcare business problems into technology solutions; AI experience required
- Comfortable owning commercial paper end-to-end — MSA, SOW, scoping, pricing — and walking deals through legal and procurement
- Strong communicator across clinical, technical, and executive audiences.
- Data-driven and outcome-obsessed: you track what you own and you know what's working
- Entrepreneurial and self-directed — you build the structure, you don't wait for it
- Comfortable representing Blank Metal in C-suite rooms, healthcare conferences, and industry events
- Familiarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, and the realities of deploying AI in regulated clinical and operational environments is a plus
- Open to travel for clients, partners, and conferences (10% - 15%)
