About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own day-to-day content strategy and creation for LinkedIn and YouTube, with opportunities to expand into additional platforms over time
  • Create platform-native content, including short-form video and visuals
  • Develop a recognizable and consistent brand presence across social channels
  • Monitor engagement and performance, using insights to refine content direction
  • Support executive social media strategy and employee advocacy
  • Create engaging, agile, and high-impact video content across channels (LinkedIn, YouTube, short-form clips, behind-the-scenes, storytelling formats)
  • Partner with the broader Marketing team to execute webinars, consulting on webinar concepts and formats
  • Develop post-event content strategies that extend the impact of each session well beyond the live moment, including repurposed assets across social, email, blog, and web
  • Help refine and evolve how the Blackthorn brand shows up through content and media across owned channels
  • Translate company strategy, product value, and customer insight into clear, compelling narratives
  • Bring forward creative ideas, content series, and new formats — and test what resonates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–7+ years of experience in social media, brand storytelling, or a related role for B2B Saas companies
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and video production skills, with a portfolio you’re proud of
  • Experience creating content across formats (written, social, video)
  • Experience building strategies that balance balancing creativity with data-backed insights
  • Strong collaboration skills. You’ll work closely with a Sr. Content Marketing Manager and cross-functional partners, and often need to influence without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated power-user proficiency with AI content tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar).
