About the role
- Design and develop data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions for business intelligence projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions.
- Work closely with business analysts and data scientists to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Create and maintain documentation for data models, ETL workflows, and reporting processes.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy through thorough testing and validation.
- Optimize and tune query performance for efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and data analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems.
- Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes.
- Proficiency in at least one business intelligence tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
