About the role
- Lead and manage the quality assurance team, including planning and organizing their work, providing guidance and mentorship, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality standards and establish best practices for software testing and quality assurance.
- Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
- Coordinate and execute software testing activities, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Identify and document software defects, and work with cross-functional teams to drive their resolution.
- Maintain and enhance the test manual & automation framework and infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- CTFL (Certified Tester Foundation Level) certification is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with manual testing and test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium WebDriver or Cypress.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with API testing and working with RESTful APIs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and mentor a team of QA engineers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
