About the role
- Develop and maintain a strong Product & Technology (P&T) Leadership relationship
- Advise P&T on regulatory controls implementation
- Enforce P&T accountability to ensure compliance controls are both efficient and consistently implemented
- Participate in strategic Product/Client discussions that require complex compliance solutions
- Define and oversee a process for ensuring Compliance Audit and Risk issues are remediated by P&T
- Design, implement, and maintain Product health reporting to improve Product visibility into compliance risks
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in Regulatory Compliance or related Product Risk roles
- Deep understanding of the payments industry
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to learn and retain knowledge of our product and service offerings
- Effective communication skills with Product Managers and Engineers
- A natural owner who drives the development of roadmaps, sets priorities, and delivers projects from inception to completion
- Previous experience in a financial regulation advisory role, compliance/legal department, risk and control function, or consultancy environment
- Willingness to travel
