About the role

  • Work closely with engineering teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to meet project commitments
  • Track schedules, deliverables, and action items, proactively identifying and escalating risks and issues
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through
  • Operate effectively in a fast-moving environment where processes and structures continue to evolve
  • Own delivery of assigned distribution projects, portfolios, or programs with accountability for scope, schedule, cost, and client satisfaction
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients, building strong, long-term partnerships
  • Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams including engineering, Project Coordinators, and Associate Project Managers
  • Provide leadership across multiple projects or workstreams, including potential mentoring and oversight of other project managers
  • Partner closely with distribution engineering and grid leadership on resource planning, delivery strategy, and execution
  • Support proposal efforts, planning activities, and strategic client engagements as appropriate for experience level
  • Operate as a hands-on leader in a fast-paced, growth environment supporting both services-based and large-scale EPC or program work

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive project management experience in electrical distribution engineering
  • Experience supporting or managing utility, distribution engineering, EPC, or infrastructure-related projects
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and deliver results in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated experience building and sustaining long-term client relationships and obtaining repeat work
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering and technical staff
  • Experience leading client-facing projects, portfolios, or programs
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to changing priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
