About the role

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams within the Power Providers Market Sector
  • Support Advanced Power Generation (APG) projects
  • Build critical infrastructure for today’s and tomorrow’s challenges
  • Contribute to power systems design
  • Create and modify electrical design drawings
  • Utilize advanced techniques in industry-standard design tools, such as Bentley MicroStation
  • Support accurate modeling and illumination calculations across APG facilities
  • Develop and modify technical deliverables
  • Apply foundational engineering principles and established design practices
  • Utilize digital tools and design software to create, modify, and maintain technical documentation
  • Provide technical guidance and may offer direction to other engineering professionals and technicians
  • Review project requirements and determine the correct format and contents of required deliverables
  • Apply BV Quality Program to deliverables
  • Demonstrates personal accuracy and supports continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Typically a minimum of 5 years related work experience
  • Diploma or Certificate preferred
  • Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred
