About the role

  • Support multidisciplinary project teams within the Power Providers Market Sector
  • Collaborate on Advanced Power Generation (APG) projects
  • Contribute to site development efforts including grading and drainage, erosion control, roadways, fencing, and underground utilities
  • Develop and modify technical deliverables under general direction
  • Utilize digital tools and design software to create, modify, and maintain technical documentation
  • Proactively apply BV Quality Program to deliverables
  • Review project requirements and ensure compliance with codes and standards
  • Perform design calculations, material quantity estimates, and maintain records
  • Coordinate with other design group personnel to exchange project information

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience
  • Diploma or Certificate preferred
  • Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Related Technology preferred
  • Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected)
  • Knowledge of standards, systems, document control, and departmental guides
  • Proficient in digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling)
  • Ability to provide technical guidance to other professionals and technicians
  • Capability to handle difficult technical assignments within an area of expertise
