About the role
- Develops familiarity by reading, understanding and applying departmental design guides and engineering codes
- Contributes to preparation of less complex engineering deliverables such as drawings, reports, specifications, and studies
- Performs routine research and develops recommendations for equipment and materials selection
- Collects, assimilates, and manages data for engineering work
- Prepares basic engineering calculations following standard methods and principles
- Supports quality program and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program
- Understanding of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards
- Basic industry knowledge and technology trends
- Understanding of company quality program
- Knowledge of construction and constructability practices and principles
