- Functions as a technical specialist or in a lead role
- Applies advanced engineering techniques and analyses
- Provides technical guidance to others regarding projects and disciplines
- Prepares a variety of complex engineering deliverables for larger or multiple projects
- Performs complex research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection
- Actively delegates appropriate tasks to lower-level team members
- Communicates client interests and drivers to project team members
- Develops approaches to accommodate client concerns in performance of work
- Provides support to business development or pursuit activities
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience
- Holds an active engineering registration or licensure for EOR requirements
- Significant steel and reinforced concrete design at Nuclear Power Plants
- Experience writing technical and/or construction specifications
- Experience writing scope of work documents
- Experience with nuclear document design verification
- Software Experience: Risa-3D, Staad Pro, GT Strudl, ANSYS
- Code Experience: ASME Section III, Section XI, AISC, 15th Edition ACI 318, 349
