About the role
- Function as a Technical Specialist or Project Lead Role on substation projects
- Support variety of substation projects in engineering detailed design and EPC
- Develop protection and control design deliverables
- Develop physical design deliverables within high voltage substation designs
- Perform quality review of electrical substation design packages
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Prepare electrical equipment specifications and BOM for procurement
- Communicate and coordinate project activities with clients, vendors, subcontractors
- Present proposals, designs and project activities
- Prepare and manage design budgets and schedules
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program
- Minimum of 11 years related work experience
- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search
