About the role
- Functions in an engineering capacity supporting Substation design
- Assist in producing electrical engineering deliverables like reports, drawings and specifications
- Adhere to budget, schedule, and quality requirements
- Develops familiarity by reading, understanding, and applying departmental design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and policies
- Understands and adheres to budget, schedule, and quality requirements
- Shares information with others as requested
- Coordinates with others when directed by supervisor or project leaders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology
- Coursework and knowledge of substation design
- Understanding schematics and wiring diagrams
- Previous internship experience
- Basic knowledge of engineering design principles, design guides and standards
- Insight of industry trends and developing technology
- Fundamental knowledge of construction practices and principles
- Skilled in problem solving, written communication, informing, and peer relationships
