About the role

  • Participate in engineering and design of HVAC and plumbing systems in various types of facilities
  • Design HVAC and plumbing systems for HyperScale and Colocation Data Center design
  • Support additional areas such as Administrative, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Laboratory
  • Conduct Data Center airflow CFD modeling for interior and exterior spaces
  • Conduct energy audit/efficiency studies and sustainable design/LEED application
  • Develop engineering skills while working on challenging projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • Minimum of 1 year related work experience
  • Basic knowledge of Data Center/Mission Critical Design
  • Experience with construction support
  • Understanding of design differences in Hyper-scale, edge and collation data centers
  • Familiarity with Data Center tier rating systems
  • Strong knowledge in Autodesk Revit
  • Data Center airflow CFD modeling experience for internal and external evaluations
  • HVAC system energy modeling and energy code
  • Green building initiatives such as LEED
  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
