About the role
- Participate in engineering and design of HVAC and plumbing systems in various types of facilities
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for HyperScale and Colocation Data Center design
- Support additional areas such as Administrative, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Laboratory
- Conduct Data Center airflow CFD modeling for interior and exterior spaces
- Conduct energy audit/efficiency studies and sustainable design/LEED application
- Develop engineering skills while working on challenging projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Minimum of 1 year related work experience
- Basic knowledge of Data Center/Mission Critical Design
- Experience with construction support
- Understanding of design differences in Hyper-scale, edge and collation data centers
- Familiarity with Data Center tier rating systems
- Strong knowledge in Autodesk Revit
- Data Center airflow CFD modeling experience for internal and external evaluations
- HVAC system energy modeling and energy code
- Green building initiatives such as LEED
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
