About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for general ledger accounting and ensuring reliable, high-quality financial bookkeeping
Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and reporting
Design and implement a structured and efficient closing process
Perform operational accounting tasks and execute account reconciliations
Ensure high quality and accuracy of financial data
Continuously improve existing accounting processes
Build efficient and scalable structures together with the finance team
Help shape finance structures for the German and Dutch entities
Potential to take on additional responsibilities related to international entities as well as group reporting & consolidation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of professional experience in general ledger accounting, financial accounting, or financial close
Strong experience preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Very good knowledge of German accounting regulations (HGB/German GAAP)
Experience in operational accounting
Strong hands-on mentality and sense of responsibility
Willingness to further develop accounting processes and actively shape organizational structures
Excellent written and spoken German and English
