About the role
- Design, develop, and optimize data solutions, dashboards, and reports leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services.
- Design and implement scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
- Create and maintain data models and semantic layers to support analytics and reporting.
- Develop and support interactive Power BI dashboards and Paginated Reports.
- Integrate data from multiple sources into OneLake, ensuring data quality, governance, and security.
- Collaborate with BI developers and business stakeholders to deliver efficient, scalable solutions.
- Optimize performance of data solutions and troubleshoot issues in complex environments.
- Implement best practices for data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and metadata management.
- Report to Business Intelligence Manager and work within the Business Intelligence/IT department.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL, DAX, and Power Query (M).
- Experience with data warehouse/lakehouse architecture, Azure OneLake, and Delta Lake.
- Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
- Experience with Python or Spark for data transformation. (Preferred)
- Knowledge of machine learning pipelines and AI integration in Microsoft Fabric. (Preferred)
- Familiarity with CI/CD for data solutions and DevOps practices. (Preferred)
- Microsoft certifications such as Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate or Azure Data Engineer Associate. (Preferred)
