About the role

  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of all information managed by IT and protect information systems and assets
  • Analyze Tier 1 & 2 business requirements and perform process analysis to determine business solutions or process improvement opportunities
  • Oversee and assist with the gathering and documentation of requirements and maintain comprehensive documentation
  • Assess reported issues, provide incident updates and drive them to closure
  • Create working procedures, build knowledge databases and functional documentation
  • Develop functional requirements and system design specifications and work with developers to ensure optimal solutions
  • Implement enhancements, change requests, break-fixes, patches and updates
  • Develop test plans, execute testing, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and approve changes
  • Develop and deliver end user training materials and document solutions
  • Communicate software updates and changes to stakeholders
  • Contribute to project plans, participate/lead/assign/monitor tasks and liaise with management, functional leaders and end-users
  • Design and support JD Edwards and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Keep current with application architecture, ESU and service pack releases, functionality, and CNC components

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education preferably in the field of business, finance, computer science or software engineering
  • 8+ years of JD Edwards (JDE) support and business analysis experience
  • Strong knowledge of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Technical Foundation tools and CNC functionality
  • Knowledge of finance, construction, service or facility management
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and oral knowledge of English
  • Excellent communication, documentation, planning, prioritization, organization and interpersonal skills
  • A customer first attitude to maintain and improve satisfaction
  • Ability to work effectively in a goal-oriented team environment
  • Ability to quickly grasp, articulate and document complicated business and technical issues
  • Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certifications/experience would be an asset
  • No contractors; role requires hybrid work in Markham, ON (no ability to work fully remotely)
