About the role
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of all information managed by IT and protect information systems and assets
- Analyze Tier 1 & 2 business requirements and perform process analysis to determine business solutions or process improvement opportunities
- Oversee and assist with the gathering and documentation of requirements and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Assess reported issues, provide incident updates and drive them to closure
- Create working procedures, build knowledge databases and functional documentation
- Develop functional requirements and system design specifications and work with developers to ensure optimal solutions
- Implement enhancements, change requests, break-fixes, patches and updates
- Develop test plans, execute testing, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and approve changes
- Develop and deliver end user training materials and document solutions
- Communicate software updates and changes to stakeholders
- Contribute to project plans, participate/lead/assign/monitor tasks and liaise with management, functional leaders and end-users
- Design and support JD Edwards and maintain strong customer relationships
- Keep current with application architecture, ESU and service pack releases, functionality, and CNC components
Requirements
- Post-secondary education preferably in the field of business, finance, computer science or software engineering
- 8+ years of JD Edwards (JDE) support and business analysis experience
- Strong knowledge of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Technical Foundation tools and CNC functionality
- Knowledge of finance, construction, service or facility management
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral knowledge of English
- Excellent communication, documentation, planning, prioritization, organization and interpersonal skills
- A customer first attitude to maintain and improve satisfaction
- Ability to work effectively in a goal-oriented team environment
- Ability to quickly grasp, articulate and document complicated business and technical issues
- Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certifications/experience would be an asset
- No contractors; role requires hybrid work in Markham, ON (no ability to work fully remotely)
