Business Development Associate – Oil & Gas
Black & Grey HRBusiness Development Associate identifying and engaging energy companies across the oil and gas value chain. Building relationships and generating qualified meetings for business development goals.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and engage prospective clients across the oil and gas value chain, from operators to EPC and services
- Generate qualified meetings through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, networking, referrals, email campaigns and market research
- Build relationships with HR Directors, Talent Acquisition Managers, Project Directors, Operations Managers, Procurement Heads and Country Managers
- Schedule and prepare meetings for the Business Development leadership team
- Build and maintain a healthy, honest pipeline in our CRM
- Understand each client's hiring challenge before positioning our recruitment and HR advisory solutions
- Track project awards, rig activity, EPC contracts and energy programs and turn market intelligence into opportunity
- Represent Black & Grey HR in energy industry events and exhibitions with the presence the brand demands
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
- Fresh graduates welcome. Attitude and communication matter more than tenure
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Natural relationship builder with the confidence to engage senior professionals
- Strong commercial awareness and genuine curiosity about the energy industry
- Self motivated, energetic and target driven
- Persistent, resilient and organized in follow up
